Explore the Power of a Josh.ai Smart Home in Los Altos Hills

A truly modern living space should respond intuitively when you speak. Josh.ai brings that ease to your personal haven, quietly orchestrating lighting, shades, music, and climate through the most natural interface you have: your voice. 54 Electric designs each Josh.ai smart home around how you live, hiding the underlying hardware so your architecture remains the focal point.

Your Whole Home, Arranged Your Way

The Josh App puts your entire residence at your fingertips. Custom dashboards and favorite scenes sit one tap away, grouped by zone, so everyone in the household can create the atmosphere they need in each room. Creating a new scene takes no programming. Type or speak what you have in mind, like dimming the living room or lowering the west shades at sunset, and the Natural Language Scene Editor builds it for you.

Privacy Your Family Can Count On

Josh.ai exists for one purpose: making daily life in your smart home easier. Your data is never sold to third parties or shared for marketing, and you decide how much information your home collects. Conversations in your kitchen stay in your kitchen. For families who value discretion as much as convenience, that peace of mind matters.

Create the Evening You Have in Mind

Describe a scene in plain language, and Josh.ai brings it to life. Schedule your morning routine, or have the theater lights fade on a short delay while a favorite film queues up. Scenes can also respond to conditions like the time of day, the weather, who is home, and what your sensors report.

JoshGPT

Ask Your Home Anything

JoshGPT brings generative AI into your home and goes with you when you leave. Available through every Josh.ai microphone and the Josh App, it handles home control and everyday questions in the same conversation. Ask it to lower your smart shades and suggest a wine pairing for dinner in one breath. Curious about something new? Just ask.

A few things you might ask JoshGPT:

  • Cooking: What temperature should I roast salmon at?

  • Travel: Which airlines fly nonstop to Lisbon?

  • Wellness: What helps you fall asleep faster?

  • Art: Who painted Water Lilies?

  • Trivia: How far is the moon from Earth?

Speak the Way You Already Do

Josh.ai voice control runs on a proprietary natural language engine, so you can talk to your home in everyday phrases. Ask for one thing or several at once, like turning on the patio lights and starting jazz by the pool.

Each microphone knows which room it sits in. Say you’re cold in the great room, and Josh.ai warms that room while leaving the rest of the house as it is.

Choose How You Connect With Josh.ai

Josh Nano in black and white

Josh Nano

About the size of a quarter, Josh Nano is an architectural microphone designed to disappear into your walls or ceiling. Paired with Josh Core as the brain of the system, it brings full voice control to the largest estates while keeping every surface clean.

Josh Micro

Josh Micro fits in the palm of your hand and carries its own system processor and far-field voice technology. Set it on a shelf or nightstand, and it knows which room it’s in, so a simple request for lights affects only the space you’re standing in. A touch-sensitive surface adds custom tap and swipe controls.
Josh Remote

Josh Edge

Josh Edge reimagines the handheld remote, combining universal control of your entertainment with personalized triggers for your favorite scenes. Keep it beside the sofa and command the whole house without reaching for your phone.

Josh App

The Josh App keeps every property you own within reach, so your home can welcome you before you pull into the drive. Intuitive menus lead to your dashboards and scenes in a couple of taps. You can nickname devices and adjust floor plans until the interface feels entirely yours.
